LA SHISH RESTAURANTS

Over the years, the word La Shish has become synonymous with award-winning Middle Eastern Cuisine. The first La Shish opened its door on January 12th, 1989, and since then, our 12-store chain has become a local, state and nationwide phenomenon in a span of 17 years. Here’s what some of the experts had to say:

The New York Post says “La Shish serves up fresh Middle-Eastern fare. The hummous is amazing; the pita is hot and fresh.” The Detroit News (which voted us Best Middle-Eastern Restaurant for 2005) says that, “La Shish serves Lebanese delicacies that are flawlessly fresh.”  The Gourmet Magazine named La Shish “Number one in casual dining, service and food quality.” And The Restaurant Critic gave La Shish “Five Stars”.

"We truly believe that our strength is rooted in our commitment to our employees, guests and rich cultural heritage."

Once you step into a La Shish, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported back to a magical time. Lavish decorations and imported fixtures and drapes give our stores a feeling of elegant ambience.

Our professional, smiling wait staff will be delighted in guiding you through recommendations and specials of the day. House favorites include grilled kabobs, mouth-watering lamb chops, creamy dips (such as hommous, baba ghanooj or garlic), grapeleaves, falafel and many specialty salads. Whether you are a meat lover or a vegetarian, our comprehensive menu features a wide array of authentic Lebanese dishes.

We are also famous for our Fresh Juice Bars. Guests can enjoy many healthy concoctions, such as the C.O.B.R.A. (made from carrots, oranges, beets, radishes and apples) or the classic Smoothies (strawberries, banana, honey and choice of juice). As well you can sample the Ksara Selection, an exclusively imported wine, direct from the mountains of Lebanon. If you’d rather have an ice-cold beer, we feature a light Lebanese beer called Almaza.

Last but not least, all meals are served with homemade piping hot pita bread. Every location features an on-site, dining room, bread oven.
